New Delhi, July 9 (IANS) Six cricketers from Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals will be making a special appearance on Sony TV's music reality show "Indian Idol 5".
The cricketers - Yusuf Pathan, Abhishek Raut, Faiz Fazal, Siddharth Trivedi, Kamran Khan and Naman Ojha - will test their vocal chords and shake a leg with the jury and contestants of "Indian Idol 5" in an episode to be aired Monday.

Durban, June 12 (DPA) Durban's large Indian community joined the party in their native South Africa Friday, to celebrate the first World Cup ever held on African soil.
With some three million people, Durban is South Africa's third-largest city. It has an Indian population of over half-a-million, with scores of thousands more living elsewhere in the province of KwaZulu Natal.

Melbourne, May 19 (IANS) Australia's Test and ODI captain Ricky Ponting has come out in support of Michael Clarke, who questioned his place in the Twenty20 side after the team's loss in the World Twenty20.
 
Clarke captained Australia to the final of the World Twenty20 but, after losing the final to England, admitted his form in the format was "not up to scratch" and the selectors would have to make a decision about his future.
