BCCI president Shashank Manohar will inform board members about the suspension of Lalit Modi from the vice presidentship of the board as also as the IPL chairman.

New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), India's apex fashion body, Saturday came out to support the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in the capital this year.

The FDCI, along with the Games' Organising Committee, unveiled a graffiti wall at the ongoing Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) here, with several designers writing their wishes
for the Games on it.

Lucknow, March 26 (IANS) Sachin Tendulkar's fans have launched a campaign in Uttar Pradesh to collect one million signatures on cricket bats to demand Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, for the cricketer.

The fans hope to fill up 4,000 cricket bats to be presented to President Pratibha Patil, say the students and faculty members of a management institute in Shahjahanpur, 180 km from Lucknow.
