Southern star Siddharth was on top of the world after he found his photograph alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan on the latest prospectus of Delhi University's Kirori Mal College.

"I'm on the cover of Kirori Mal College's prospectus this year next to legendary alumnus Amitabh Bachchan...my amma (mother) is ecstatic. Cheers," Siddharth, who was seen in Hindi films like "Rang De Basanti" and "Striker", posted on his Twitter page.

New Delhi, June 14 (IANS) Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is scared to direct the remake of his father's 1991 hit "Agneepath", famous for portraying megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the "angry young man".
The 38-year-old says action isn't quite his thing.

Hyderabad, June 12 (IANS) The Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission Saturday banned television reality shows involving children.
Pronouncing its verdict on the petitions filed by some NGOs, the commission banned with immediate effect "Aata" a dance reality show on Zee Telugu channel and directed the police to take action against such shows on other channels.

Commission chairman Justice Subhashan Reddy said human rights were being violated in shows like "Ata" as they portray children in an objectionable manner.

Mumbai, June 14 (IANS) Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan is grateful to his "Raavan" co-stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai for saving his life from a poisonous snake while shooting in the jungle.

"I used to lie down either on the river bank or in the bushes between shots to take some rest. I was lying on a rock when I heard them screaming, 'Get up or you will die'. I got up and saw that a nine-foot-long poisonous snake was approaching me," said Ravi.

Debut director Abhishek Sharma, whose has made "Tere Bin Laden" - a satire on the world's most wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden, has been receiving mysterious blank calls at night from an unrecognisable number.

"I have been getting blank calls in the middle of the night these days. Not that I am taking them too seriously and not that I am scared, but they (the calls) just end up making me curious. But I am not really trying to find out who it is," Abhishek told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
